I have found someone who has been to this church with friends and they are going to find out the name and its location for me. I will post as soon as I find out.

I think the Church you are referring to is Liberty Church. It is made from rocks that were readily available from the surrounding hills. An old deceased resident told me that people in the community of Rose Hill and Forty Forks came together and had a Church raising and there it still stands today. It has a large cemetery and is a quiet & peaceful place. The one road that is now gated due to the Watershed Lake was named Old Number 5 Highway. This was the main road that went from Jackson to Purdy and actually went on to Pittsburgh Landing and Shiloh, I was told by numerous old descendants. Many a Civil War soldier traveled this road. At the foot of the hill where the lake is now the bridge crossed over Cypress Creek. There once was a Grist-Mill located there and the old grinding rock was still visible before the lake was built in 1985. The land at that time I was told belonged to Mr. Joseph Walker. Across the lake on the next hill is Rose Hill Cemetery. There is a Gravestone there with the inscription, “Joseph Walker’s Old Black Mammy.” I lived in this area for 10 years and still miss it very much.
